Our Story

Our story dates back to the late 90s. Maximo and Marvin met while working for McDonald's, specifically for the Happy Meal platform in Latin America. One was the client, and the other was the Creative at ethe agency. Years later, they worked together again for one of the companies that produce toys for McDonald's, specializing in the world of kids and families. They went on to create the program "Little Architects," a blend of research, creativity, and innovation that generated significant business results. That mutual understanding, strong friendship, and the desire to carry out something innovative, courageous, and virtuous led them to create "Yes, we're Open," their own marketing, strategy, and creativity studio.

Max Lorenzo & Sebastian Marvin. Co-Founders.

Max Lorenzo and Sebastian Marvin are the co-founders of Yes, we're Open. Max began his professional career working for JWT in Buenos Aires. After a few years in agencies, he transitioned to the client side, where he worked in various marketing roles at companies such as Gillette, McDonald's, and Danone. During this time, he gained knowledge and specialized in understanding the business of brands and companies.

Marvin began his career as an Art Director at FCB in Buenos Aires. Later, he joined Leo Burnett Argentina, where he worked with significant clients such as Fiat, Arcor, and McDonald's, among others. His experience in the field led him to become the Regional Creative Lead for Creata, a company dedicated to children's marketing. Since 2022, both Max and Marvin have been the leaders of Yes, we're Open.

Millie Vergara. Managing Director Open USA.

Millie is a Marketing and corporate communications executive with over 25 years of experience.
She started her career at Lopito in hometown San Juan, Puerto Rico. After some years at the agency side, she joined McDonald’s Corporation where she held numerous leadership positions during 17 years. Millie is now the Managing Director for Open in the US Market.

More than 15 years working in advertising for brands such as Toyota, Kellogg's, P&G, Molinos Río de la Plata, IKEA, AB Inbev, CMR, Itaú, among others, many of them being part of GREY Argentina, where he mostly developed his career, and met Max.

He also has marketing experience, as he was Despegar’s Brand, Production and Media Director for the entire region.
Raised in Coronel Suárez, he has lived in Germany, the United States and since 2022, in Uruguay.

Lorena De Marco. Partner. Managing Director Open España.

Lorena is a Master in Communication Management from the Barcelona Autonomous University and MBA from the EAE Business School/University of Barcelona.

She is a PR and Communications Expert, with over 10 years of expertise in the Food and Drinks, Consumer Goods, and the Health industry.

She started working at Starcom MediaVest Group and then at FOX Latin American Channels in Caracas, Venezuela, her hometown. She moved to Barcelona where she started working for Atrevia. After 9 years with Atrevia Communication Agency, she started a new position as Marketing Communications Lead at Exoticca Travel Agency to then join Max and Marvin to start up Open in Spain, where she is the Managing Director for the España office.
